Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) signed a cooperation agreement with Solidarity Global Institute (SIGI) – an association that focuses on women’s rights development, and that contributes to combating violence and discrimination against women and girls, the empowerment of women,  and advocates for women’s rights and freedom on the basis of justice, equality and equal opportunities, and improve their status in society through their economic and political participation. This cooperation agreement is in line with Jordan Kuwait Bank’s values that affirms the importance of supporting initiatives that contribute to the empowerment of women, engage them in decision-making and helping women to obtain leadership positions, and achieve financial security and independence. JKB continues in taking effective steps to increase and support women in the labor market, additionally the Bank provides a stimulating and encouraging internal work environment for its female employees. It is worth noting that this multifaceted cooperation is based on the development and sustainability of various aspects of society through numerous initiatives and activities that contribute to supporting several areas including gender equality and building partnerships to achieve Sustainable Development Goals.
