As part of its social responsibility to support the cultural and artistic activities, as well as the scientific activities and workshops organized by the Jordanian universities, Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) sponsored the first summer cultural season organized by the Al-Hussein Bin Talal Library at Yarmouk University. The event commenced on 30/6/2019 under the patronage of Dr. Anis Khasawneh, Vice President of the Humanities and Administrative Affairs Faculty, representative of the President of Yarmouk University. Mrs. Sana Bateha, Manager of JKB’s Yarmouk University Branch, represented the Bank and attended the opening ceremony, during which she gave a speech praising the University for its Remarkable Role in developing all aspects of life in Irbid Governorate, pointing out that graduates of this prestigious educational institution occupy leading positions both in Jordan and abroad. Mrs. Bateha also stressed the Bank's interest to support the University Library’s activities within this cultural season; strengthening the relationship between the University and the Bank, and thus achieving the University's objectives in promoting its scientific, cultural and artistic role on the one hand and the Bank's objectives in promoting its economic and social role on the other. The Bank also set up a booth on the University campus during the event, where staff welcomed students, faculty and visitors and answered all their inquiries with regards to the Banks services and products.
