Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) was the gold sponsor for IRIS Academy’s Football Challenge Initiative with the legendary Ruud Gullit, as part of its social responsibility to support youth and sports. The challenge was held to provide the chance to young football players for the age group of 12-14 years, from various governorates throughout the Kingdom, through participating and representing Jordan in the San Marino Tournament, which will be held in July 2022 in San Marino, Italy. Out of more than 4,000 players, 15 talented players were selected from various governorates, through the tryouts that were held during February 2022. As part of the sponsorship, Ruud Gullit visited one of JKB’s branches on Saturday 21/5/2022, where he met with a number of children and the Bank’s Football team, in which they took memorial photographs. Later that evening, a gala dinner was held at the Landmark Hotel, where the 15 selected winners’ names were announced, and the Bank was offered a signed t-shirt by Ruud Gullit, as an appreciation for its gold sponsorship and leading role.
