Jordan Kuwait Bank has signed a strategic partnership with Princess Sumaya University for Technology to establish a specialized educational center for cybersecurity monitoring on the university’s campus. The initiative aims to equip Jordanian youth with the technical and scientific skills needed to keep pace with the rapid evolution of this vital sector and to prepare them for leadership and global competitiveness.

President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Professor Wejdan Abu Elhaija, praised the partnership, describing it as "a true embodiment of the university’s vision to strengthen knowledge infrastructure in cybersecurity and promote innovation and scientific research."
Professor Elhaija noted that the establishment of the center marks a strategic step in equipping students with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, empowering them to excel in this fast-evolving field. She added that the collaboration will open new opportunities for research and training and will help shape a generation capable of tackling digital security challenges at both the local and global levels. In addition to enabling students to work with the latest technologies for detecting and responding to digital threats and training them on tools for data protection and infrastructure security."
As a key technical partner in the project, PROTECH, a leading cybersecurity firm that will contribute its expertise in developing the center’s operational environment. The company will also provide technical content and hands-on training modules to ensure that the center’s graduates are equipped to meet national and regional cybersecurity market demands.
