As part of its strong commitment to supporting community initiatives and promoting the values of solidarity and social cohesion, Jordan Kuwait Bank carried out a series of humanitarian and volunteer activities during the holy month of Ramadan. These efforts were implemented with the active participation of its employees through the “True Influencer” program.
The initiatives included employees contributing to the preparation of 100 charitable food parcels in cooperation with Tkiyet Um Ali, in anticipation of the holy month and in support of underprivileged families. The bank also sponsored a Ramadan tent under “Mawaed Al Rahman” program at Tkiyet Um Ali’s location in the Raghdan Complex, where employees helped prepare and distribute iftar meals to approximately 2,500 fasting individuals.
To bring joy to children, bank employees participated in two initiatives: “Ramadan Joy with Zaha” in collaboration with the Zaha Cultural Center, and “Draw a Smile” in collaboration with the Haya Cultural Center. Each initiative hosted around 150 children for Ramadan iftar gatherings, which included a variety of educational and recreational activities.
The bank also provided daily iftar meals through the “Refrigerator of Goodness” located in front of its head office in Abdali. In addition, it distributed iftar meals to those in need during the first days of Ramadan and contributed to the preparation and distribution of 1,300 iftar meals in cooperation with Waqf Thareed.
Commenting on these efforts, the Group CEO of Jordan Kuwait Bank said: “We believe our responsibility extends beyond providing banking services to actively supporting our community and strengthening the values of solidarity and compassion, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. The “True Influencer” program embodies this commitment by encouraging our employees to engage in volunteer work and take part in meaningful humanitarian initiatives that create a positive and lasting impact on the lives of individuals and families in need.”
These efforts fall under the “True Influencer” program, which aims to foster a culture of volunteerism and strengthen the bank’s role in serving the community by launching initiatives that address the needs of diverse groups, reflecting the bank’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility and sustainable positive impact.
