JKB participates in supporting the climbing team of the Badwa Center for Special Education

Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) and within its ​​social responsibility activities and specifically to supporting persons with special needs, the Bank supported the Climb For Badwa Center (C4BC) initiative. Team C4BC is a self-funded team of 14 Jordanian men and led by Jordanian adventurer and climber Mostafa Salameh with a noble mission to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa to fundraise for The Badwa Center for Special Education. Captain Ali Sawalma, Jordan’s wheelchair marathon champion, accompanied the team on this adventure to become the first parathlete to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon reaching the summit, the team raised the Jordanian flag and the flag for Jordan Kuwait Bank and other sponsoring companies. The Badwa Center for Special Education is a branch of the Mental Health Society for Special Education and schools 60 disadvantaged children. The main aim of the center is to educate and provide vocational training, in turn assisting the students to professionally and socially adapt and integrate into society.
