Jordan Kuwait Bank announced the signing of the General Agreement for Credit Information Services with CRIF Jordan. Mr. Moh’d  Yasser Al-Asmar,  JKB’s General Manager and Mr. Ahmad Amoudi, General Manager of CRIF Jordan signed the agreement on 17.03.2016 at Jordan Kuwait Bank’s headquarters in the presence of the Bank’s and Company’s executive management. Mr. Al-Asmar stated: “This agreement is the result of a determined effort led by the Central Bank of Jordan over recent years under the auspices of H.E. the Governor. The participation of Jordan Kuwait Bank in the credit bureau is a translation of the strategy to facilitate access to credit for SMEs and individuals, to help them obtain more favorable loan conditions, grow their business and reinforce their presence in the market, searching for new business opportunities, and thereby enhancing the Jordanian economy as a whole”. He added that the Bank constantly strives to improve and raise the level of credit risk management and assessing the solvency of its clients to take the appropriate credit decision so as to maintain the high quality of the Bank’s credit portfolio. On his part, Mr. Amoudi pointed out that CRIF Jordan will provide its services to banks and financial institutions backed by its long international experience, bringing to Jordan experiences gained through its business and presence on the international level and within the best practices in this area, and will work to expand the areas of access to customer information from different entities to provide a more detailed and comprehensive information on them.
