Jul 26, 2026

Jordan Kuwait Bank has signed a cooperation agreement with INJAZ to support the “My Path to Success” program, an initiative designed to empower university students across Jordan and equip them with the skills and experience needed to enter the job market. The program forms part of the Bank’s corporate social responsibility strategy, which places a strong focus on education, youth empowerment, and financial inclusion, with the aim of creating lasting development impact within the local community.

The agreement was signed by Zuhdi B. Al-Jayousi, Chief Banking Officer at Jordan Kuwait Bank, and Deema Bibi, CEO of INJAZ, in the presence of employees from both organizations.

The agreement builds on the longstanding partnership between Jordan Kuwait Bank and INJAZ. Over the years, the two organizations have worked together on a range of initiatives and programs supporting entrepreneurship, strengthening financial literacy and encouraging innovation among young leaders. This ongoing collaboration reflects the Bank’s commitment to contributing to Jordan’s economic and social development alongside its role as a financial institution.

Designed for students aged 18 to 24 at public and private universities across Jordan, “My Path to Success” is a comprehensive, hands-on program running over a period of nine to twelve months. Participants will progress through a structured journey beginning with awareness and registration, followed by training and practical application, and concluding with evaluation and follow-up, helping them build the confidence, skills and experience needed to succeed in the job market.

The program focuses on developing key skills in entrepreneurship, leadership, financial literacy and project development. Participants will also receive direct mentorship from Jordan Kuwait Bank experts and employees, take part in interactive workshops and gain firsthand exposure to the business environment.

The program includes two main paths, the “Company Start -Up Program” and “My Entrepreneurial Project (MEP)” which guide students through the different stages of their entrepreneurial journey. Participants begin by exploring the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship and developing their ideas, before moving on to business planning and the final presentation of their projects.

Commenting on the partnership, Zuhdi B. Al-Jayousi, Chief Banking Officer at Jordan Kuwait Bank, said: “We believe that investing in young people is an investment in the future of the national economy. That is why we are committed to providing practical programs that build their capabilities and equip them to enter the job market with confidence. Our partnership with INJAZ is a strong example of how collaboration can turn ideas into meaningful opportunities for learning and development.”

Al-Jayousi added that the agreement reflects Jordan Kuwait Bank’s continued commitment to supporting initiatives that deliver sustainable development impact, driven by its belief that developing young talent and preparing the next generation for the job market are essential pillars of economic and social development.

Deema Bibi, CEO of INJAZ, emphasized the importance of the partnership with Jordan Kuwait Bank, noting that it further strengthens the longstanding collaboration between the two organizations across a range of initiatives aimed at supporting young people in Jordan. She added that, through its network of partners and supporters, INJAZ continues to expand the reach of its programs and increase the number of young people who benefit from them, guided by its commitment to youth empowerment and to strengthening Jordan’s entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem.

Bibi explained that the “Company Program” and “My Entrepreneurial Project,” which will be delivered through this partnership, represent the first stage of the entrepreneurship journey for university students. The two programs introduce students to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, develop their innovation and entrepreneurial thinking skills, and support them in shaping and developing their ideas and initiatives through practical, structured approaches.

She added that the programs also prepare students to take the next step by joining INJAZ’s mySTARTUP business incubator, which provides startups with an integrated support environment to develop their businesses and prepare for market entry. Through specialized incubation programs, mySTARTUP supports startups across the key areas they need to grow and develop their businesses.

The agreement is part of Jordan Kuwait Bank’s wider efforts to support education and empower young people, in line with its corporate social responsibility strategy and its commitment to building institutional partnerships that create a lasting positive impact within the community.
