Jordan Kuwait Bank has partnered with the Jordan Forum for Business and Professional Women to launch the “She’s an Entrepreneur” program, reaffirming its commitment to empowering women and promoting a healthy work-life balance.

The program was inaugurated with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding at the bank’s headquarters. The agreement was signed by Mr. Daoud Issa, COO of Jordan Kuwait Bank, and Dr. Reem Al-Baghdadi, President of the Jordan Forum for Business and Professional Women, in the presence of senior representatives from both organizations.

This collaboration introduces an annual mentorship initiative aimed at the bank’s female employees. The program will feature regular meetings with accomplished businesswomen, enabling participants to gain insights into overcoming challenges in various economic sectors, achieving work-life balance, and developing leadership skills.

The program includes monthly mentoring sessions where 10 to 20 female employees will meet with 12 experienced businesswomen to learn from their success stories, experiences, and growth strategies.

Commenting on the initiative, Ms. Manal Tubaishat, Head of Administrative Affairs at Jordan Kuwait Bank, said: "At Jordan Kuwait Bank, we recognize the essential role women play in advancing economic and social progress. The ‘She’s an Entrepreneur’ program reflects our commitment to equipping our female employees with the skills and confidence they need to excel as leaders. This initiative is a key pillar of our corporate strategy and aligns with our dedication to empowering Jordanian women to achieve both professional success and a balanced life.”

Dr. Al-Baghdadi emphasized the importance of the program, stating: "We are proud to collaborate with Jordan Kuwait Bank on this initiative, which underscores the critical role of empowering women in the workplace. The ‘She’s an Entrepreneur’ program provides a valuable platform for knowledge sharing between successful businesswomen and the bank’s employees. By fostering awareness of women’s leadership potential, we hope to inspire participants to reach their full capabilities and make significant contributions to the financial and economic sectors."

Ms. Tubaishat also acknowledged the efforts of the Jordan Forum for Business and Professional Women in promoting the role of Jordanian women in economic and social development. She highlighted how this partnership allows employees to benefit from the expertise and guidance of successful female leaders, offering valuable mentorship and inspiration.

This initiative aligns with Jordan Kuwait Bank’s strategic vision of nurturing the talents of young female employees, fostering work-life balance, and cultivating a new generation of female leaders in the financial and banking sectors.
