Jordan Kuwait Bank has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mada Specialized Finance Company to launch the “Buy Now, Pay Later” (BNPL) service through its leading digital payment platform, JKB Pay. The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the JoFinTech Festival 2025, held at the Four Seasons Hotel - Amman, in the presence of representatives from both parties.
This collaboration comes as part of Jordan Kuwait Bank’s ongoing commitment to driving innovation in digital payments and expanding the range of financial solutions available to individuals and businesses. The initiative aligns with the latest developments in the fintech sector and supports efforts to enhance financial inclusion in Jordan.
Maram Nweiran, Digital Channels Manager at Jordan Kuwait Bank, emphasized the importance of this step, stating, “Launching the Buy Now, Pay Later service through our leading digital platform JKB Pay represents a significant addition to the digital payments sector in Jordan. We are working to provide innovative solutions that serve both individuals and merchants, while supporting the Bank’s efforts to promote financial inclusion and connect customers with the latest available digital tools.”

This partnership further strengthens Jordan Kuwait Bank’s role in advancing financial innovation by integrating JKB Pay with the national instant payment infrastructure (CliQ), in addition to highlighting its active participation in the JoRegBox regulatory sandbox overseen by the Central Bank of Jordan. These steps reaffirm the Bank’s commitment to leading digital and financial transformation in the Kingdom.
