Jordan Kuwait Bank continues its partnership with the “Green Wheels” initiative, being in line with JKB’s social responsibility, contribution to serving the community, its active role in addressing the environmental challenges facing the Kingdom and its support for people with special needs. Wherein the bank collects plastic sheets and aluminum cans in its headquarters, delivers them to the collection points for the Green Wheels initiative, which in turn, sorts them and delivers them to local recycling factories, allocating the resulting revenues to provide aid to children with special needs, specifically those with cerebral palsy. The initiative contributed to the treatment of 200,000 children, in addition to collecting and recycling approximately 15 million plastic sheets and 20,000 aluminum cans. This initiative is aimed primarily to engage all members of the society of different ages and nationalities, without any discrimination, to take a role in supporting the environment and humanity.
