Jordan Kuwait Bank has made a generous donation to the Jordan Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP Jordan), providing a state-of-the-art ultrasound device to enhance diagnostic and healthcare services at the Health Center in Hitteen Camp in Russeifa, which serves over 120,000 residents in the area.
This advanced medical equipment will enable the center’s medical staff to improve diagnostic accuracy and efficiency, supporting early detection of diseases and timely preventive care for more than 4,000 patients every month. The device will directly benefit several specialized clinics within the center, including internal medicine, endocrinology, vascular, gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics, neurology, and cardiology, thereby enhancing the management of both chronic and acute conditions.
In addition, the device will significantly reduce waiting times for patients and help minimize diagnostic errors, ensuring faster access to essential medical services.
MAP Jordan expressed its deep gratitude and appreciation to Jordan Kuwait Bank for this valuable contribution, emphasizing that the donation comes at a time when modern medical technologies are essential to improving diagnostic and treatment quality. The organization highlighted that this initiative reflects the Bank’s strong sense of social responsibility and its ongoing commitment to supporting and advancing healthcare services across local communities in Jordan.
It is worth noting that the device is now fully operational at the Hitteen Camp Health Center, where physicians are using it daily to provide essential diagnostic services, which is an important step toward closing healthcare gaps and upholding the right to medical care for all in need.
