Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) hosted the book launch and signing ceremony event of renowned Jordanian mountaineer Mustafa Salameh’s first story of the 7 Summits series — an exciting 7-book children’s series featuring the seven summits of the world. The event was held at the Bank’s Theatre on Saturday 23/11/2019. Mustafa Salameh is the first Jordanian and Arab climber to achieve the Grand slam and undertake the polar adventure, which included climbing the seven summits, including Everest, and crossing the North and South Poles, in spite of the difficult and extreme conditions. Salameh is also considered an influential and supportive figure for the youth. He holds motivational talks to young people in several countries, including Jordan, Ireland, Scotland, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Lebanon, Kuwait and Malaysia to encourage them to follow their dreams and achieve their goals. Salameh also participates in awareness campaigns for a number of causes that include combatting cancer in cooperation with King Hussein Cancer Foundation, in addition to raising funds for people with special needs and Gaza refugees.
