In line with its leadership role in sustainability, Jordan Kuwait Bank held an interactive workshop for its employees in collaboration with the UN Global Compact Network Jordan. The workshop aimed to enhance employees' understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the principles of the UN Global Compact, emphasizing their integration into the bank’s strategy and daily operations.
The session featured a dynamic agenda designed to inform and engage participants. Employees took part in an interactive survey to assess their awareness and understanding of key sustainability concepts. A comprehensive overview of the SDGs and the ten principles of the UN Global Compact was provided, with a focus on their relevance to the banking sector.
The bank’s sustainability team highlighted Jordan Kuwait Bank’s longstanding partnership with the UN Global Compact, outlining initiatives and projects undertaken in recent years that align with the Compact’s principles and the bank’s sustainability commitments.
