Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) launched a new insurance program against the new Coronavirus (Covid-19), covering all ages groups up to the age of 65 years. The insurance coverage begins after the 30-day of enrolling in the program. Should the insured test positive for the coronavirus, the cost of the Covid-19 PCR test within approved laboratories will be covered.  Negative test results will not be reimbursed. The insurance will also cover medical consultation, chest X-rays and CBC test prescribed by the attending physician, in addition to antibiotics and vitamins prescribed by the attending physician, hospital treatment if the patient health condition requires hospitalization for symptoms management and according to the evaluation of the specialist physician, provided that these symptoms cannot be treated on an outpatient basis and after agreement of appointed health care providers to admit (Covid-19) cases to hospital.
