Reaffirming its strong commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development, Jordan Kuwait Bank has launched a new initiative called “safer al khair.”
The program’s launch coincides with the start of Ramadan, reflecting the bank’s dedication to transforming its slogan, “More Than Just a Bank,” into meaningful action.
The “safer al khair” aims to foster a culture of volunteerism among the bank’s employees and those in its subsidiaries, encouraging them to actively contribute to community service. The initiative also strengthens teamwork and internal communication while supporting national efforts to address economic and social challenges.
Commenting on the launch, Haethum Buttikhi, CEO of Jordan Kuwait Bank, stated, “At Jordan Kuwait Bank, corporate social responsibility is an integral part of our strategy to balance economic, environmental, and social priorities. We are committed to launching initiatives that meet the diverse needs of the local community. The “Goodwill Ambassador” program is an important step toward achieving sustainable development goals and promoting a culture of giving among our employees, ultimately benefiting the communities we serve.”
The program extends across all governorates of the Kingdom, from north to south, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to broadening the reach of its initiatives and serving local communities. Projects are implemented in collaboration with government entities, private sector partners, and civil society organizations to ensure lasting, positive impact, with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion.
