The Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan, H.E. Dr. Ziad Fariz, inaugurated the fourth CSR forum that was organized by the Association of Banks in Jordan with the participation of the banks working in the Kingdom that was held on Sunday 4/10/2015. Participants discussed the latest developments in corporate social responsibility on both local and international levels and CSR reports according to international standards in addition to the experiences of some commercial and Islamic banks in the Kingdom and that of their strategic partners. H.E. the Governor stressed that the banking system has a major role to show that CSR is a cornerstone of the banking business and that it represents both a commitment and investment. He also stressed that the concept of CSR has become a culture and constitutional approach for companies working in the different communities and represents a development and sustainability indicator for it. Mrs. Dana Jaradat, Marketing and Public Relations Manager at Jordan Kuwait Bank presented the Bank’s activities and achievements in this area.
