Jordan Kuwait Bank Receives PCI Data Security Standard Compliance Certification

Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) received the Payments Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) version 3.1 Compliance Certification after completing and applying all the technical and operational requirements set by the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC)  to protect the Bank’s cardholder data. Mr. Moh’d Yaser Al-Asmar, JKB’s General Manger, received the PCI DSS Compliance Certification from Mr. Saeed Alloubani - Regional Manager of trustwave, whom were selected to provide Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance consulting and validation services, in the presence of the Bank’s top management and the project team tasked with applying the PCI DSS.  Mr. Al-Asmar stated that Jordan Kuwait Bank constantly strives to provide a safe environment for its clients especially in light of the increasing risks associated with information systems and electronic payments, and commended the efforts exerted by both the Bank's team and the advisory company. Stressing that the security of customer information is the highest priority at the Bank, and that the goal was always to secure customer data. The certification is a culmination of Jordan Kuwait Bank’s efforts in acquiring the most advanced systems, applications and security systems, in addition to updating many of the systems and infrastructure devices to be compatible with the PCI DSS standard requirements.
