The Blood Banks Directorate held a celebration at the Land Mark Hotel on Saturday 26/8/2017, on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Mahmoud Sheyyab, Minister of Health, who honored individuals and companies who donate blood constantly and support the Blood Bank; with Jordan Kuwait Bank being recognized as one of the main supporters of the Blood Bank.   The Minister of Health stressed during his speech that the transfusion of blood and its components is of great importance and emanates from the urgent need to remind people of the value of blood for the continuity of life and to raise awareness of the need for sufficient quantities. Blood transfusion is of great value in many ways, most notably saving the lives of millions of people around the world.
