Jordan Kuwait Bank has renewed its strategic partnership with Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans for the 2026-2030 period, reaffirming its long-term commitment to supporting the education and empowerment of orphaned young men and women. The partnership aims to help beneficiaries pursue university education and build more stable, independent futures.
Under the agreement, the Bank will provide university scholarships to a number of young people supported by Al-Aman Fund, in cooperation with universities across Jordan. The scholarships will cover tuition costs in line with the Fund’s approved eligibility criteria and academic pathways.
The support will benefit young people who have graduated from residential care centers after spending most or all of their childhood in facilities affiliated with or registered with the Ministry of Social Development. It will also extend to orphaned youth supported by orphan care centers registered with the Ministry who live with one parent or a member of their extended family and have limited financial resources.
Haethum Buttikhi, Group Chief Executive Officer of Jordan Kuwait Bank, said that renewing the partnership for another four years reflects the Bank’s commitment to building long-term community partnerships that deliver meaningful and sustainable impact.
He added, “Investing in the education of orphaned young men and women gives them the tools they need to shape their own futures, strengthen their independence, and participate actively in both professional and community life”.
He added that the partnership with Al-Aman Fund goes beyond providing financial support for education, describing it as an investment in the potential and future of young people. He noted that extending the Bank’s support through 2030 will enable beneficiaries to receive sustained assistance throughout their university journey, helping them transition from care to independence and establish their professional careers.
