Jordan Kuwait Bank has signed two cooperation agreements with Tamatem, a leading publisher and developer of Arabic mobile games. The first agreement enables the launch of JKBPay as an electronic payment method via the instant payment system CliQ on Tamatem Plus platforms. The second agreement focuses on strengthening the bank’s interactive presence within the game (Awad: Delivery King 2) through the integration of the bank’s name and logo into the game environment.
The agreements were signed by Daoud Issa, Chief Operating and Support Officer at Jordan Kuwait Bank, and Hussam Hammo, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Tamatem.
Under the first agreement, users of the Tamatem Plus platform will be able to complete instant and secure payments using the JKBPay service powered by CliQ. This will simplify game top-ups and the purchase of virtual currencies and gift cards, while delivering a fast, seamless, and secure payment experience aligned with the latest digital payment technologies.
The second agreement allows Jordan Kuwait Bank to establish a presence within Awad: King of Delivery 2 by embedding its name and logo across various in-game elements and buildings. This integration offers an innovative and engaging experience, enabling the bank to connect with users through a modern digital channel that resonates with today’s digitally native generation.
This collaboration reflects the bank’s strategic focus on expanding its footprint across contemporary digital environments, not only through advanced payment solutions, but also by engaging with interactive platforms that attract a broad youth audience in Jordan and across the region. Through this approach, the bank aims to extend the reach of its services and keep pace with evolving digital consumption trends.
Commenting on the agreements, Daoud Issa said, “Signing these two cooperation agreements with Tamatem marks another milestone in the bank’s digital transformation journey. Expanding the availability of JKBPay via CliQ on the Tamatem Plus platform, alongside our presence within Awad: King of Delivery 2, opens new opportunities to engage with users in innovative digital spaces”.
He added that the bank continues to roll out initiatives that support its strategic objectives in digital services by investing in its digital infrastructure and expanding partnerships with online platforms and digital gaming companies targeting young audiences. These efforts aim to deliver innovative payment solutions, strengthen the bank’s presence in everyday digital experiences, support the growth of the digital economy, and promote financial inclusion in the Jordanian market.
Hussam Hammo commented, “Introducing JKBPay via CliQ adds a valuable new payment option to the Tamatem Plus platform, offering users a faster and more convenient checkout experience. This will positively impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.”
He added, “Our partnership with Jordan Kuwait Bank aligns with Tamatem’s strategy to provide reliable, advanced digital payment solutions that meet the expectations of our users, while supporting the growth of e-commerce and digital transformation in the Jordanian market”.
