Jordan Kuwait Bank Partners with Infinity EV Charge Jordan to Enable JKBPay Payments for EV Charging

Jordan Kuwait Bank has signed a partnership agreement with Infinity EV Charge Jordan, a company specializing in electric vehicle charging solutions, to enable payments through the JKBPay platform using the CliQ service within the InfinityEV application. This provides users with a more convenient, faster, and more secure digital payment experience when charging their electric vehicles.

The agreement was signed by Daoud Issa, Chief Operating and Support Officer at Jordan Kuwait Bank, and Rami Abu Yousef, Managing Director at Infinity Jordan, in the presence of several senior employees from both sides.

This partnership comes in line with Jordan Kuwait Bank’s strategy aimed at strengthening digital transformation and developing the digital payments ecosystem by providing innovative financial solutions that meet customers’ needs and keep pace with the rapid developments in the financial services sector.

It also reflects the bank’s direction toward expanding its digital services by leveraging the latest technologies and enhancing integration with various digital platforms and services, contributing to the achievement of digital transformation goals and the improvement of customer experience. In addition, it supports Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles by encouraging sustainable digital solutions and contributing to the transition toward more sustainable transportation methods.

Under the agreement, InfinityEV app users will be able to make payments directly through the CliQ service using any bank account or electronic wallet linked to the system, without the need to use bank cards. This provides a smooth and secure payment experience that facilitates the process of charging electric vehicles and keeps pace with the rapid growth in the use of electric vehicles in the Kingdom.

In his comment on the agreement, the Chief Operating and Support Officer at Jordan Kuwait Bank, Daoud Issa, said: “Jordan Kuwait Bank continues to invest in developing innovative digital payment solutions that are based on customer needs and keep pace with the rapid transformations in lifestyles and financial services. This partnership with Infinity represents a new step toward expanding the use of the CliQ service in daily transactions, providing a more convenient and secure payment experience for electric vehicle users, and strengthening the bank’s efforts to support digital transformation and financial inclusion in the Kingdom”.
