Jordan Kuwait Bank has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Arab Orphan Committee to provide financial support for the committee’s “Bunyan” educational fund program.
The signing ceremony was attended by Jordan Kuwait Bank CEO Haethum Buttikhi, Arab Orphan Committee Chairman Khaled Kanaan, and Arab Orphan Committee CEO Abdullah Mohammed, along with various other representatives from both the bank and the committee.
Through this partnership, Jordan Kuwait Bank will offer scholarships specifically for orphans and underprivileged students in Palestine, helping them complete their education, empowering them, and preparing them to enter the workforce. This initiative reflects the bank’s commitment to social responsibility, with a focus on supporting youth and the education sector—key priorities for the bank in its mission to cultivate sustainable human resources by nurturing outstanding and qualified students.
Buttikhi praised the committee’s efforts in advancing education and enabling young people to achieve their academic and professional goals. He expressed optimism that this collaboration would serve as a significant turning point in the lives of these students, helping them realize their dreams. He emphasized that this partnership is part of the bank’s broader contribution to sustainable development and community service, supporting the education sector, and supplying the labor market with skilled workers. Buttikhi also highlighted that the bank prioritizes efforts to advance and strengthen the education sector.
Kanaan extended his heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the Jordan Kuwait Bank for their generous donation to the educational fund program for orphans and needy students in Palestine. He acknowledged that this support provides much-needed relief to those enduring difficult times, and he prayed that the bank’s contributions would be blessed and rewarded.
