Jordan Kuwait Bank announced its sponsorship of a joint health awareness event held at Al-Thawra Square in Aqaba, organized in cooperation with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority. The initiative was part of ongoing national campaigns to raise awareness about breast cancer and men’s cancers.
This effort builds on the Bank’s previous support for the King Abdullah II Building in Aqaba, where it sponsored the naming of the waiting hall last year. This year, the Bank continues its commitment to community health from the heart of the city, encouraging preventive care and early screening for both women and men.
The event featured a range of educational and recreational activities, attracting broad participation from Aqaba residents and visitors. It included informational sessions on prevention methods, free preliminary medical checkups, and the distribution of awareness brochures and giveaways. The Bank’s Aqaba branch team was also present to support its partners’ efforts in promoting health awareness.
The Bank affirmed that sponsoring this joint initiative reflects its corporate social responsibility strategy, which places the health and well-being of Jordanians among its top priorities. It emphasized that such events represent a national and humanitarian duty and demonstrate the Bank’s ongoing commitment to serving the community and enhancing public health.
The Bank also highlighted that its presence in Aqaba extends beyond providing banking services to forming genuine partnerships with the local community through support for health, education, and youth initiatives. It added that collaboration with national institutions such as the King Hussein Cancer Center and the Aqaba Authority underscores its dedication to promoting a culture of prevention and early detection as essential tools for protecting individuals and families.
Jordan Kuwait Bank continues to strengthen its social impact through initiatives that advance public health and social well-being, guided by its belief that investing in people is the cornerstone of sustainable development.
