Jordan Kuwait Bank Sponsors the Jordanian Forum for Internal Audit “Impact Endures… Trust is Built”

Jordan Kuwait Bank participated as a Gold Sponsor of the Jordanian Forum for Internal Audit, organized by the Jordanian Internal Auditors Association under the theme “Impact Endures… Trust is Built”. The conference brought together around 330 leaders, experts, and professionals specializing in internal auditing, risk management, governance, and compliance from both the public and private sectors.

The event featured a series of specialized panel discussions exploring the future of internal auditing and its role in supporting institutional stability while strengthening integrity and trust. Sessions also addressed key challenges related to emerging risks, digital transformation, and smart oversight. Additional topics included “Internal Auditing 4.0,” digital trust, leadership communication, and the role of governance in protecting institutions and enhancing long-term sustainability.

Commenting on the bank’s sponsorship, Haethum Buttikhi, Group CEO of Jordan Kuwait Bank, emphasized that internal auditing has evolved into a strategic partner in supporting institutional sustainability and strengthening organizations’ ability to navigate rapidly changing challenges. He noted that building institutional trust requires advanced control systems and skilled professionals capable of keeping pace with technological developments and emerging risks.

Buttikhi added that Jordan Kuwait Bank continues to invest in developing local talent and implementing international best practices in governance, risk management, and compliance. This commitment reflects the bank’s belief in the vital role these frameworks play in promoting financial stability and supporting Jordan’s business and investment environment. He also expressed pride in the bank’s partnership with the Jordanian Association of Internal Auditors in hosting an event that brought together leading industry experts and specialists.

Hussein Ramadan, Head of Internal Audit at Jordan Kuwait Bank, also participated as a keynote speaker in a panel discussion titled  the “Importance of Institutional Integrity and Facing Challenges of Fraud and Corruption” During the session, he highlighted the importance of integrating auditing and risk management systems to address modern cyber and financial threats, as well as the role of internal controls in reinforcing transparency, integrity, and institutional readiness in a rapidly evolving environment.

The bank’s sponsorship of the forum reflects its ongoing commitment to strengthening institutional governance, promoting a culture of effective oversight and risk management, and supporting the advancement of the internal auditing profession in line with the rapid transformation taking place across the financial and banking sectors.
