Jordan Kuwait Bank has supported the “Back to School” program in collaboration with Qawafel Al Khair for Relief and Development, reaffirming its continuous commitment to education through its corporate social responsibility program “Safeer Al Khair” and its Keenness to create a positive and sustainable impact in the community.
The program aims to support orphaned students and underprivileged families across different governorates of the Kingdom, by easing the financial burden of securing essential school supplies and helping provide a suitable learning environment at the start of the academic year.
As part of the initiative, volunteers from the bank’s “Safeer Al Khair” program participated in a community event held at Areefa Mall, where more than 100 students from underprivileged areas were hosted. The initiative included the distribution of full school uniforms and fully equipped school bags with stationery, in addition to organizing sports and recreational activities that created an engaging and supportive atmosphere.
Jordan Kuwait Bank’s participation in this program comes as part of its belief in its societal role, serving the community and strengthening partnerships with civil society organizations. It also highlights the bank’s strong commitment to investing in education, considering it the cornerstone of sustainable development.
