Jordan Kuwait Bank Supports Farm Jo’s “Feed Them Right” Initiative Promoting Healthy Nutrition in Schools and Empowering Local Farmers

Nov 12, 2025

As part of its ongoing commitment to community engagement and sustainable development, Jordan Kuwait Bank announced its support for “Feed Them Right” initiative, launched by the Farm Jo platform. The initiative aims to promote healthy eating habits among students in the Wadi Al Seer District by providing nutritious, locally sourced meals that support healthier lifestyles and raise awareness about the importance of nutrition. The program also reinforces the role of local farmers by connecting them directly with schools to supply fresh produce.

The initiative was implemented by the Farm Jo team with the approval and supervision of the Ministry of Education and the Wadi Al Seer Education Directorate. In its first phase, natural and wholesome meals were distributed to students across five schools within the district. These meals featured locally sourced fruits, vegetables, and healthy baked snacks designed to instill balanced eating habits and improve children’s health, focus, and energy levels. The initiative also included interactive educational sessions that highlighted the value of balanced nutrition and its role overall wellbeing, while encouraging environmental awareness, planting trees, and reducing food waste.

Jordan Kuwait Bank’s support reflects its commitment to social responsibility and its belief in the importance of national programs that combine health awareness with the empowerment of Jordanian farmers. The initiative aligns with the sustainability pillars, which focus on supporting impactful community programs in education, health, and environmental responsibility. It also complements the bank’s ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships with national institutions to achieve lasting positive outcomes.

A key highlight of the initiative was the introduction of creatively packaged educational food boxes, which included illustrations and environmental activities designed to encourage creativity, critical thinking, and environmental stewardship. These boxes transformed the experience of receiving a meal into an engaging learning opportunity.

Volunteers from Jordan Kuwait Bank’s “Ambassadors of Safeer Al Khair” program participated in distributing the boxes to students.

The Farm Jo team described the initiative as a practical example of the “Farm to School” concept, which directly connects Jordanian farmers with end consumers, thereby strengthening the local economy and creating job opportunities for youth and women in rural communities. The team expressed appreciation to Jordan Kuwait Bank for its support and belief in investing in future generations from an early age, emphasizing that this collaboration serves as a model partnership between the private sector and community-driven initiatives.
