In celebration of its Golden Jubilee, Jordan Kuwait Bank has achieved a Guinness World Records™ title in the category of “Largest Coin Mosaic Depicting a Logo”, marking a distinguished global achievement brought to life through the participation of the Bank’s employees. The initiative embodies fifty years of dedication, achievement, and belonging. The official certificate was received by Daoud Issa, Chief Operating & Support Officer at the bank, on behalf of the Group Chief Executive Officer.

The mosaic was unveiled at the Bank’s headquarters in Abdali, Amman, where it now serves as a centerpiece of the newly renovated main reception area. Spanning more than 38 square meters, the mosaic recreates the Bank’s logo using over 55,000 Jordanian coins, combining artistic precision with the symbolism of the national currency and marking a significant milestone in the Bank’s five-decade journey.

Commenting on the occasion, Haethum Buttikhi, Group Chief Executive Officer of Jordan Kuwait Bank, said that achieving a Guinness World Records™ title during the Bank’s Golden Jubilee year carries special significance, as it documents five decades of achievement and enduring relationships with employees, customers, and Jordanian society in a way that brings together the Bank’s identity, history, and aspirations for the future.

Buttikhi added that the use of Jordanian coins to form the Bank’s logo reflects its strong connection to the national economy and a journey that has evolved and grown over the past 50 years. He also emphasized the Bank’s commitment to ensuring that the mosaic carries the personal imprint of its employees and is created by their own hands, serving as a lasting testament to their role as the foundation of the Bank’s success and the driving force behind its development.

He further noted that the Golden Jubilee represents not only a celebration of the Bank’s achievements, but also a starting point for a new chapter in which Jordan Kuwait Bank will continue to enhance its customer experience, services, and working environment.

This achievement forms part of Jordan Kuwait Bank’s celebrations marking 50 years since its establishment, held under the slogan “50 Years Among Our People”.
