Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) and MasterCard sponsored “Enrique Iglesias – Live in Amman” Concert that was held on Thursday August 11th, 2016. More than 6,000 people attended the first concert of international Spanish artist Enrique Iglesias, whom expressed his gratitude to JKB and MasterCard for their support at the end of the Concert. Mr. Haethum Buttikhi, Head of Retail and Private Banking at JKB, stated at the press conference held earlier: “Jordan Kuwait Bank in partnership with MasterCard are delighted to sponsor this magnificent concert and show support to the music scene in Jordan. We were encouraged to support this event that has been put together by credible organizers, Play 99.6 and iJordan, and backed by both the Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities and the Jordan Tourism Board as it comes in line with Jordan Kuwait Bank’s continuous efforts and active role, to promote Jordan as a safe and stable country and an attractive destination to host world class events to be enjoyed by residents, visitors and tourists.” The event organizers extended their gratitude to all the sponsors and parties that contributed towards the success of the event, assuring their continued efforts in marketing Jordan as a tourist destination in the region. In connection to the concert, Jordan Kuwait Bank organized a campaign titled "Enjoy good times with us," and aimed towards its MasterCard credit cardholders, giving 20 cardholders the chance to win two VIP tickets to attend Enrique Iglesias’ concert.
