Sanad Digital ID Verification – In Branches



The Sanad Digital ID verification service has been activated across all JKB branches. This feature allows customers to verify their identity digitally without presenting their physical national ID card, in line with the Central Bank of Jordan regulations.


Customer Journey:

  1. The customer enters the branch and goes to the queuing system machine to get a service ticket.
  2. They select the service they wish to complete.
  3. A prompt will appear asking: “Would you like to identify yourself through Sanad?”
  4. If the customer selects “Yes,” they must open the Sanad app → go to My Documents → select National ID.
  5. Their digital ID will appear along with a QR code.
  6. The customer scans this QR code on the queuing system device inside the branch.
  7. If the digital ID is active, the system verifies the customer and issues a service ticket.
  8. When the customer reaches the branch employee, the digital ID automatically appears on the employee’s screen. Therefore, the customer is not required to present the physical national ID, as the digital identity is already validated.
